Malaysia ordered 6 aircraft of PT DI

The Malaysian government stated was attracted by the main implement weapons system (alutsista) made by the Indonesian defence industry. Furthermore Malaysia had planned to buy several alutsista.

Director of Aircraft Integration PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) Budi Wiraskito stated, Malaysian interest towards Indonesia domestic Main Equipment Weapon System production was seen from the order toward several kinds of Main Equipment Weapon System that has been placed.
Apart from Malaysia, two other countries Qatar and the Uni Emirate Arab (UEA) also interested in CN-235 anti submarine. Moreover, said Budi, Qatar has had the commitment to carry out the purchase.

In the meantime, the Managing Director PT Pindad Adik Avianto Sudarsono stated, Malaysia needed 32 armored vehicle made by Pindad.
